Available- The kitten is available to adopt.
Hold- The kitten has a prospective buyer interested & we are waiting on a deposit. He/she may become available if the deposit is not received.
Reserved- A deposit has been placed and the kitten is pending pick up.
Our kittens are $2,200 & $2,400 (polydactyls). I do not charge a difference between genders or colors. Breeding/show prices depend on the kitten & breeder.
A deposit is required for the following reasons: to reserve a kitten, to visit, or to join our waiting list. All deposits are $200 and are deducted from the purchase price of your kitten. Deposits are non-refundable unless I cannot provide you with the kitten that you reserved.
- A reservation deposit reserves a specific kitten and is not transferable if you decide that you want a different kitten.
- A waiting list deposit allows you to be added to our waiting list. We only keep a waiting list for those who are looking for specifics (colors, genders, traits, etc.) and you will be notified when such a kitten becomes available. If you are on the waiting list, I will offer you these kittens before listing them as available. Any kittens listed in the first slideshow are available to be reserved.
- A visit deposit allows you to visit the available kittens at our home. Please note, the kittens you see listed will remain available for others to reserve. Therefore, I cannot guarantee which kittens will still be available at the time of your visit. If you like a specific kitten, I would suggest reserving him/her and then visiting to ensure you don’t miss out on it.
Remaining balances are not due until pickup unless your kitten is being shipped or delivered. When shipping/delivering a kitten, balances are due the day before.
I deal with many kitten families. If you feel as though you have not heard from me in a while, PLEASE reach out to me! I always have time to chat with our kitten families so if you ever have questions or just want some updated photos of your kitten(s) call, text, or email anytime!
Unfortunately, I’m aware that there are many scammers out there and I want all of our kitten families to feel comfortable with us. If you are concerned, please call the CFA or the Animal Welfare Program in Maine to verify our cattery’s legitimacy. We are licensed with the state of Maine and have a valid import permit. We also have many reviews and testimonials to read through!
Before leaving our care, the kittens are completely weaned, litter trained, vet checked, vaccinated for distemper (we use a 3 way vaccine) & rabies, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for FeLV/FIV. Every kitten will be spayed/neutered before going home unless she/he is purchased with breeding rights. $100 will be added to the balance if sterilization has been done. This saves each family quite a bit considering sterilization prices in the US! Each kitten is freshly groomed before leaving our home.
Our kittens come with a care package that includes: A few small toys, a wand toy, some kitten food, their registration papers, a signed contract, a health certificate, health records, and a book all about Maine Coon cats! If you would like to read through our kitten contract just let me know and I will send it over. Pet kittens are sent home with their registrations, not pedigrees. If you would like a “pet” pedigree, we can order one for $50. If you are purchasing a breeding kitten, they are sent home with a 5 generation pedigree at no additional charge. Our kittens also come with a 1 year genetic health guarantee and lifetime breeder support!
We love to place our kittens in homes together and offer a $200 discount for kittens purchased together or returning families. If you have purchased a kitten from us, you will receive this discount on every kitten after your first. It doesn’t matter how many kitties you purchase or how long it has been since your last one.
We accept PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, CashApp, Meta Pay, cards, and checks for deposits. Please note, there are fees with some of these payment methods and the sender will be responsible for this charge. You may use a different method to avoid them or add it to your remaining balance. Please contact me and I will let you know which methods do/do not have fees. If you are sending a check for a deposit, I will hold a kitten for 3 days while waiting on a deposit. If the deposit is not received, the kitten is placed back up for sale. We do not accept personal checks (money orders or certified checks are fine) when picking up your kitten. Maine state sales tax (5.5%) is collected on every kitten.
We have a few different delivery options.
- Families are always welcome to pick up their kitten from our home and pickups are scheduled a week or two in advance.
- We are willing to meet families within New England for a fee and it would depend on where we plan on meeting. This fee covers our gas, tolls, and time.
- Shipping is available and typically costs about $600 but sometimes is a little less. This includes an airline approved crate, bowls, certificate from the veterinarian, and airfare. If you are purchasing two kittens, they can fly together at no additional cost. Flights can be scheduled no earlier than 10 days prior.
- You can fly out to one of three airports (Bangor, Portland, or Boston) and we can meet you there with your kitten. We do charge a small fee if we meet in Portland or Boston but do not charge a fee for Bangor considering we are so close.
- We also offer to fly with your kitten in the cabin. The family would be responsible for all fees involved.
